Do I need an appointment?An appointment is required for all fittings or drop offs. Please allow up to 30-45 minutes is to get an accurate fit. We also take this time to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Can you alter any type of clothing?Alterations are for formal, everyday wear and vintage/historical clothing. No heavy duty alterations or sewing such as leather or industrial canvas.

How much will my alteration cost?Basic alterations on everyday wear such as hems have set pricing. Bridal alterations have a starting price and require an in person quote. Formal dresses can be complex, and made of unique materials, so it would be hard to give a fair estimate without knowing what we're working with. No quotes via phone, text or emails.

Do you offer custom-made clothes?We offer custom sewing for specific designs/items such as repurposing, keepsake or replicating historical pieces. We do not offer custom bridal or everyday clothing. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a project in mind.

How long will it take to alter my clothes?Turnaround time on general alterations is usually up to 2 weeks, but it all depends on the complexity of the garment and the schedule. During wedding season, expected turnaround times may be up to 3 weeks. Bridal alterations are completed in a series of fittings and an estimated pick up date will be given at the initial fitting. I am currently a team of one and very meticulous, so I do not offer same-day or rush services.
